April 30- Befriending Spirits with guest Chris Fleming

Chris Fleming was born in 1967, the son of Patricia Fleming and Chicago Blackhawks' hockey legend Reggie Fleming. Though he traveled extensively with his parents and sister during his father's active years playing hockey, Chris spent most of his childhood in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago.

As early as he can remember, Chris Fleming was prone to experiencing extraordinary encounters in the form of ghosts and unexplained phenomena, from dark shadowy forms coming out of closets and dim corners, to glowing ghosts manifesting above grade school friends during sleepovers. As these experiences increased, Chris-fearfully at first-began studying the ghosts as they moved around the house and even interacted with him.  Soon he grew aware of how they used telepathy to hear his thoughts, and even project themselves from one side of the room to another almost instantly. He also learned quickly that his fears were never hidden from them.

After several years of encounters, Chris befriended a spirit who introduced himself as Henry. This spirit would warn Chris about other ghosts and entities, as well as tell him things about the spirit world and universe.  Chris conversed with Henry on the Ouija board from 1975-1979 before Henry moved on, but one particular conversation stands out in Chris's memory to this day: One afternoon Chris, who had recently seen the movie Close Encounters, asked Henry if there is life elsewhere in our solar system. Henry answered "Europa," and when Chris asked what type of life is on Europa, the spirit responded, "Plant and bacteria." Twenty years later, Chris was folding laundry and listening to CNN in the background when he heard something in the broadcast that caught his attention: a reporter was announcing that scientists now believe there may be plant or bacteria life on the sixth moon of Jupiter, a moon called Europa.

April 29-Making Change a Positive Thing with guest Nancy Matshushita

A Graphic Designer to Registered Nurse to Medical Coder and now online business owner of Little Paws Pet Boutique. Why so many career changes? Sometimes it was brought on by choice most of the time it was brought on by chance. My plans were to attend college, work, marry and have kids. Didn't work out that had other plans for me.

Join Nancy Matsushita as she discusses how you can take change in your life and make it into positive experiences and opportunities.

I never liked the mentality that you have to work to live and live to work. People spend a lot of time saying "This too shall pass" ...I was one of them until I realized my whole life was passing by. It's true that "you think you have time" but life is short.

People have said to me that their mentality of life is "you are born, you work and then you die". I thought I would rather work at something I am passionate about and makes me feel like I made a difference in the world rather than working somewhere where I am making more money and feeling stressed and unfulfilled.

Opening Little Paws Pet Boutique.. I always thought that there is more to life than working at a job that you are not passionate about until you die. Some people have told me they are too afraid or too comfortable to follow their passion because they are too afraid to succeed! After college I was a graphic designer and then I decided to follow my original path that was a Registered Nurse. I loved the job but developed a anaphylactic latex allergy from the gloves and had to change careers. I became a certified medical coder. After 20 years the hospital was reorganizing and laying off people. Usually I go with "sheep" mentality and follow along with everyone else but for some reason this time I decided to go with my "gut feeling" and leave. I always wanted to start a pet boutique as long as I can remember and I felt like this was the time to follow my passion and dream. A lot of people told me I was crazy to do so but my mentality was " Other people have so why can't I?" and I feel if it is something you have a passion for you will somehow find a way. I went from art to science to business so anything is possible. I believe in trying and if you fail at least you know you tried.

April 23- Hands-On Healing with guest Joanie Eisinger

Joanie Eisinger received her Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University and she holds a post-graduate certificate in Gestalt therapy. In New York City, she provided individual and group therapy for ten years. Her path took a detour when she became acutely chemically sensitive. She left conventional medicine, found complementary (alternative) healing, and ventured on a spiritual journey.

As Joanie healed, she spent a great deal of time reading and researching spirituality and healing. She realized her newfound knowledge far exceeded the training she had received. She worked with a shaman of South American tradition and taught herself Gary Craig's Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Joanie received the ability to facilitate hands-on healing after listening to a friend describe what he had learned in a series of workshops. As she opened, she became gifted with an array of healing and channeling abilities. In April 2011, Joanie was ordained as a Reverend in The Church of All Creation in High Bridge, New Jersey.
